Haiii! I’m Pearl Murmu, the webmaster of this site, which I like to call the PearlyVerse24. It’s my digital universe where I get to share the stuff I love, the things I make, little moments from my life, and anything that brings me joy!

This whole journey kind of began in the second semester of my second year while taking Multimedia classes, where I learned Action Script in Adobe Animate. I created my very first e-portfolio during that class for our internship, and that experience sparked something inside me. The excitement of making something truly personal.Then, during my mid sem break, I found myself exploring the internet and stumbled across this social network and community called NeoCities. It was so much fun seeing all the nostalgic, creative, and personalised websites. Some looked like those from the early 2000s, while others had colourful graphics and quirky styles. I was completely inspired by it.I am extremely glad that they revived this concept again!.Then, I thought to myself hmmm, why not create a space of my own?

Back in the days of GeoCities and MySpace, everyone had their own little corner of the internet which was filled with cool stickers, gifs, music, and so much personality. But I was too young to be part of it, but I remember being completely fascinated by those creative and amazing webpages.I’ve always found it so special how people can pour their creativity and identity into a single webpage and make it uniquely theirs. As someone who's always loved personal blogs, expressive layouts, quirky graphics, and customised profiles, I hope to bring that same spark into this space of mine.So this site isn’t just a little project; it’s my creative hideaway, my memory box, and a tribute to the indie web. And also a place where every page tells a story and reflects a piece of who I am.

None of this would’ve been possible without the help of PetraPixel's resources and layout generator. As this was the perfect starting point for someone who's completely new to coding. I was genuinely so happy learning from her tutorials; they’re super beginner-friendly, and her site is also really pretty! Do check her out.Alongside learning from her lessons, I also spent a lot of time curiously coding, exploring, and admiring so many talented creators’ sites that encouraged me to create 💝
